June 24, 2004: I have accepted an employment offer from Syntronics in Northern Virginia. I look forward to starting there in late July.

June 4, 2004: I will be on vacation until June 11th. I will be available by e-mail and cell until June 7th. Between June 7 and June 11 I will be camping and since I am unsure how well my cell phone provider covers the area I can not ensure I will be reachable by cell or e-mail during this period. If at all possible I will be checking voicemail once a day though.

May 19, 2004: I am in the process of moving xanthopoulos.net, xanthopoulos.com, and several other sites over to a new server. None of these sites should be affected, and gregx.com definitely won't be affected by this. The previous host had serious reliability problems.

March 3, 2004: From about 2:19 pm CST on March 2nd to 10:45 am CST on March 3rd the server that hosts xanthopoulos.net, xanthopoulos.com, and several other sites went down. The name servers also went down. Unfortunately, several users on these machines managed to have several runaway scripts going at the same time. It is highly likely that any e-mail you sent to an address hosted on those domains got bounced back. Please resend any e-mails that this occurred to. I am working with the host to gain assurances this will not happen again. Mail sent to my gregx.com domain was unaffected by this and received normally.

January 31, 2004: VT's mail servers have been having an extraordinarily hard time with the MyDoom virus. I have not received any new mail from my VT addresses for nearly a week at this point. Any mail you might have sent to my @vt.edu address, please resend it to either of the addresses listed on the contact page. Sorry for any inconvenience this may have caused. (NOTE: Mail has been coming through fine to the gregx.com and xanthopoulos.com domains. There is no need to resend those.)

January 26, 2004: My résumé has been updated again to better reflect my experience and goals.

December 22, 2003: I graduated Virginia Tech last week as anticipated. I have updated my résumé to reflect this.

October 5, 2003: I went ahead and put a link to the current version of the map project up. Since it is a work in progress, it is entirely possible it might be down or otherwise broken, but feel free to take a look around anyway. For more information on it, feel free to refer to my projects page.

September 9, 2003: I have relocated my web pages to a new host. Unfortunately, during DNS propagation any emails sent to the @gregx.com domain may get bounced or go into some other sort of black hole. Please just try again if you sent an e-mail I didn't respond to. On the upside though, the new host should provide you with better load times and allow me more future flexibility for site expansion.

September 7, 2003: After a web page that was stale for five years, I have finally gotten around to updating it. I hope you enjoy the overhaul!
